Every year we ask Georgetown alumni in Shanghai to register as an Alumni Interviewer. This is a really important service given that the number of applicants to Georgetown from China is increasing, and that alumni interviewers are always relocating to other parts of the world.
This year, the need for new interviewers is acute. We were just told that there are over 100 candidates in Shanghai alone, and only 4 alumni interviewers! As one of the few universities to require an interview, please take the opportunity to give back to the school, and influence the new student body.
Signing up with the AAP (Alumni Admissions Program) is quick and easy. However, some alumni have experienced problems before, which is why we are now recommending this process:
1. Go to this webpage and fill in the information:
https://www4.georgetown.edu/uis/keybridge/keyform/form.cfm?FormID=1926
2. Send an email stating you’re interested in being an interviewer:
* AAP: aapnws [at] georgetown [dot] edu
Thanks,
The Georgetown Club of Shanghai Team

If you were interested in learning more about the Hoyas in Greater China internship program, please check out their new website. On the site you can read testimonials from the eight Georgetown students that participated this year (four were in Shanghai). If you are an employer in Shanghai and interested in getting Georgetown students as interns, please contact Richard Matsui at hoyasingc at gmail dot com. We think this is a great opportunity for both companies and students.
